On Sept. 4, 2006, Madeline "Sadie" entered the world with a congenital heart defect known as TGA. This blog began as a way to chronicle Sadie's struggles and triumphs, her sister Katie’s adjustments and our reactions. But it turned into something else - a way to reconnect, to spread CHD awareness and to vent about parenting, work and daily life. Now that I've started blogging, I can't seem to stop - I enjoy writing here, and it keeps me slightly more sane. Slightly.
Oh you poor thing!! I can relate!! I had a bunch of these pics too! I luckly was able to bribe her with goldfish. I have one pic of the two girls together....smiling (finally), and Syd's mouth is wide open with a goldfish in it. Oh well.....we will look back and laugh at this one day...right?
ReplyDeleteOh Kim that is hilarious! That is really one to frame for when she had kids and can appreciate it in a whole different way! Too funny. And PS, we also went to Portrait Innovations...and Sadie's face sums up my current feelings about the place!
